Job Description:
Super Cool Non-profit Web Design Company Seeking Super Cool Technology-phile, Web designer/developer-in-training!
So, what makes us cool?!
Here at Antharia, our clients are primarily advocacy based nonprofits, associations and conscious corporations and are from all around the country. We believe that these hard-working organizations should all have well-designed, well-functioning sites that meet their individual needs. And we work with them to make those sites the best!
Here's where you come in!
We're looking for interns interested in print or Web design or in Web development. We accept interns from all walks of life, from all levels of experience, with any major. Antharia offers a casual, snack-filled, pet-friendly office environment. Plus, we've got the flexibility to make your internship with us meet the requirements you need!
With Antharia, you'll get the opportunity to build your portfolio and free admission to TDS Interactive classes. On a daily basis, our interns get to know our product suite (44fish), work hands-on with clients, and assist the design and development staff in everyday tasks. This includes answering phones and filing, beta-testing and performing routine simple HTML/Dreamweaver tasks for Website in development, assisting in site usability and site architecture development, assisting with logo, Web, and print design projects, and assisting with Web design and development projects.
Most importantly, you will be expected to know exactly how we take our coffee and deliver it to our desks on exact time schedules. Just kidding! Did we fool you?
Interns should be quick on their feet and quick-witted. They shouldn't be afraid to ask questions and not afraid to try and figure things out on their own. They should be brave enough to step out of their comfort zone, jump out of their comfort zone, or even nudge the staff out of their own comfort zones from time to time.
Antharia offers 8-10 week unpaid internships on intro and intermediate levels. Internship hours here are very flexible, although Tues-Thurs from 11-4 is preferable; minimum 2 days a week.
So contact Antharia's Internship Coordinator, and let us find out why you're cool!
To Apply
Send your resume and coverletter to apply (@) antharia.com. Please include samples of your work or information on what you hope to learn. The internship program runs year round.
