What is an easter egg?

An Easter egg is a hidden feature or program within a piece of software, website or even movie or CD. Easter eggs are used for several purposes - to introduce you to the development team, to provide humor, or to provide a useful feature.

One of the not-so-secret secrets of 44Fish is the ordering Easter egg. When working within an area that lists items by alphabetical order, such as a Staff Directory, you can control the ordering of the items by simply inserting spaces before the items that you would like to appear higher in the list. A space comes before A in alphabetical order, two spaces comes before one space, three spaces comes before two spaces, etc.
