How do I "embed" or add video content to a page?

If you want to embed video content in a page, first you will need to decide where the content will be hosted. You may wish to upload it to the Digital Asset Manager, which supports a number of different video media types, including AVI, Quicktime, Real Media, and Windows Media. Or you may wish to upload it to a third party video hosting site, such as YouTube.

Once you have uploaded your video, note the URL of the video. If you've uploaded it to the digital asset manager, you can simply use the following:
/assets/yourfilename.mov
where "yourfilename.mov" is the filename within the asset manager.

Within the OnContent WYSIWYG editor, click on the Insert Embedded Media button. It looks like a film strip, and can be found on the second row of buttons, second button from the right. Choose your media type from the dropdown, and then paste your URL into the URL field. The dimensions will fill automatically.

You can also click the "Advanced" tab to change settings such as "Autoplay" (the video will begin playing automatically when the page loads) or "Looping" (the video will repeat itself). These settings change depending on the type of video, so it is important to have that selection set properly.

If you wish to embed your video from a third party site such as YouTube, you can follow the instructions above, or you can simply use the "Embed Video" code provided by the hosting site. If you choose to do that, copy the code provided, and then, using the HTML button in the WYSIWYG, (second row, 5th button from the right) copy the code directly into the HTML source editor.

And voila! Enjoy your newly embedded video.
