Antharia Submission Guidelines
When submitting text, graphics, photographs, and/or data to Antharia for use in your project, it is important to adhere to the following guidelines. If you’re having trouble getting something into the proper format, please ask us first. We can help. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
SUBMITTING IMAGES | General Info
All graphic images should be delivered electronically as web ready files. This means they should be at 100% and sent to us as GIF, PNG or JPEG files. We also accept TIFF, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and EPS files. Images should never be embedded in a Word Document.
Images may be supplied via CD-ROM, DVD, email, floppy or zip disk. When using email, please zip your files to save download time (if you’re using Windows 98 or earlier, visit www.winzip.com for compression software). Simple cropping and manipulation of your graphics has been included in your project costs, however, more complicated design and manipulation will be billed accordingly.
Submitting for Web | Web Ready
When submitting images for use on the Web, you have two options.
- You can submit them at 72 dpi @ 100%.
- You can submit them using print standards so that we can manipulate, reduce and arrange your images as needed. For more information on print standards, see Submitting for Print | Print Ready below.
Submitting for Print | Print Ready
When submitting images for use in Print, you will need to submit your images at a minimum of 300 dpi @ 100%. If you would like us to crop or digitally manipulate your images please try to provide your images at 200% their final size.
Photographs, Non Digital Art Photographs and other non-digital art for use in your project should be mailed in protective containers to the studio. We provide state of the art negative (up to 4x5) and flatbed scanning of photographs and other non-digital art. We can also make available standard flatbed and drum scanning of large format pieces.
SUBMITTING TEXT
All text should be delivered electronically in Microsoft Word or plain text format via CD-ROM, DVD, email, floppy, or zip disk. Receiving your files electronically allows us to better implement your suggested text formatting (bold, italic, or underlined text). While Antharia does offer full copy writing/editing and administrative services, keying in large amounts of text is not included in our general contracts. Please note: we do not read your text. Antharia is not responsible for finding, locating or fixing any editorial item unless expressly outlined in your contract.
When submitting text, be sure to call LOTS of attention to any necessary HTML or other code. This includes the use of any images, links, form fields, etc. One good way to call attention to these areas is through the highlighting tool in Microsoft Word or changing the font dramatically. Please do NOT embed images or html tags (such as links) directly, as this only slows the migration process. When indicating where an image or url should be placed, be sure to use the full filename and/or url.
For example, here’s the right way to submit this paragraph:
Antharia is a wonderful company. I can’t imagine a single reason someone would be hesitant to intern (LINK TO: http://www.antharia.com/content/index.php?pid=307) with us. Free food, free experience, and good company: what more could they be looking for?
And here’s the wrong way:

DATA & DATABASE INFORMATION
All data for all database applications must be supplied in electronic format. Antharia can provide you with a field structure or template for the database. Database information is preferred in comma or tab delimited format, although Antharia can integrate with other databases, depending how much time has been set aside for this in your contract. In the past, we have had success working with SQL, MySQL, Access, FileMaker Pro, and several proprietary formats. If your data is stored using another database technology, please call our attention to it. Data cleaning, corrections, normalization, and data entry are not included in the scope of most projects, however if you need help in this area contact the studio for more information.
