Why did I get a WMS Error?

The WMS error page appears when the WMS (Website Management System, or in other words, 44Fish) encounters a problem and cannot complete a request.  An email detailing the problem is immediately sent to the development team for review.  If a bug is causing the issue, it is usually fixed within one business day, and an email is sent to the user for whom the error occurred, letting them know the issue has been resolved.

The most common cause of a WMS error is attempting to load a record, such as an onView contact or a Knowledge Base item, that does not exist.  This usually occurs when you load a record, delete it, and then attempt to reload the record, such as by hitting the browser's back button.  This is not a bug and the WMS error page can be ignored, but please avoid trying repeatedly to load records that do not exist.

If you encounter a WMS error repeatedly, please call us or open a supportfish ticket. Please have the WMS Error Number available (which can be found on the WMS error page), and let us know what you were trying to do when the error occurred.
